My Story
My name is Martha and as far back as I can remember, I've loved to spread joy by baking delicious cutout cookies, chocolate chip cookies and other treats. Who doesn't love getting a handmade treat baked especially for them to enjoy with a hot or cold drink during finals, on a birthday, during the big game, or for no other reason than just because? My baking experiences eventually influenced my life goals - to love on others by baking treats for them because there is just incredible satisfaction in loving others through baking.
My baking journey moved to a new level during one of the most difficult times in my life. In the midst of my angst, a high school classmate connected me with a University of Wisconsin mom who lived in California and wanted to send her son cutout sugar cookies for his birthday. I had no idea how to accomplish this, but I sure wanted to try. I baked the cookies, packed them in a shoebox and brought them to the student. I can't explain my emotions when he opened his box and gave an audible gasp of pleasure at the sight of cookies inside. Since I had a full-time job, I decided to donate my proceeds to my favorite charity over the years. It was a way to make a difference on both ends of the cookie baking process. The rest is history.
The Experience
Martha's Cookies offers pick up or delivery of cutout cookies, drop cookies or other treats to college students or other humans in need of a delicious, eye catching treat. We can provide many different types of treats. If you can describe your favorite treat, we will do our best to bake it for you.
Take a peek at the Gallery to get an idea of cutout cookie designs we can create for you for all the occasions in your life. We can also provide drop cookies like chocolate chunk (just like chocolate chip, but there's a little more chocolate in a chunk), oatmeal raisin, and white chocolate macadamia nut to name a few. There is no minimum order. Our goal is to ensure you will love your treat so much after the first bite that you will come back for more!
We can send a picture of your treats the night before delivery if you wish. At the same time, we work with the recipient to set up delivery specifics. When the delivery occurs, we can provide a picture or a video to you. We always say, "it's not just a cookie delivery, it's an experience. And we want to make it perfect!"
